Helene and Daniel's Holiday Road Trip 2014

Daniel and I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota, smack in the middle of the United States and we drove out to California for the holidays. 5,181 miles round trip. We drove through several states, taking a route south from Minnesota down through Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, into Oklahoma then turned west through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona into southern California and north to San Francisco. The trip out was lovely. On the drive home we encountered winter storms which thwarted our plans to spend New Year's Eve at the Grand Canyon. Next roadtrip we're taking a plane to Jamaica.
